Yes

Guantanamo Bay allows the United States to deny people their basic human rights by simply calling them terrorists. It is wholly unethical to hold a person in custody without telling them why they are being held and with out access to legal representation. Guantanamo Bay is simply a convenient way for the government to sidestep the constitution.

GB as it exists should be closed, because it is used in abusive practices which contravene commonly accepted 'human rights'. The facility as a whole has a marginal usefulness as a military installation, as well as a plot line in A Few Good Men; these do not warrant its continued operation.

No

NO, this is an important Military Outpost for the security of the US. Certain interests in that part of the world will soon lose their current status. Death looms near for some. When that happens, we MUST have a stablizing presence in that area, or we could face some unpleasant business a little too close to home.
